October 2, 2013 which falls today is National Batik Day the fourth. Four years ago, on October 2, 2009, batik was inaugurated by The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a Cultural Heritage  owned by Indonesia.

For four years, the National Batik Day is always celebrated most of the people of Indonesia. Without command, most workers in a number of regions in Indonesia always wear batik as National Batik Day. In commemoration of last year, the market sellers Gede, Solo, Central Java, held a fashion show. Fashion was held right in front of the market, followed by the women traders. Wearing a variety of motifs and batik cloth batik scarf, mothers on average more than 40 years old was posing and occasional dancing.
